Hi all steemians , this is my first time posting in Italy, wish you a good day. I am from vietnam.
I just had a trip to discover Tà Xùa clouds paradise in January with my best friend, it was a very unforgettable trip. This is the time near the traditional Vietnamese New Year, we went to Ta Xua when the wild peach blossoms were in bloom
Ta Xua is not only famous for its huge sea of clouds but also very difficult to discover places such as Sống lưng Khủng long ( Dinosaur Backbone), Dolphin Rock, Lonely Tree, Xim Vang zig-zag rice field. With an altitude of 2879 m, is the 4th most difficult mountain to conquer in Vietnam, this is an attractive and adventurous place for young people who love exploring, trekking or hunting clouds.
DOLPHIN ROCKS
Ta Xua is located in Bac Yen district, Son La province in the Northwest, Vietnam; 260km from Hanoi and about 6 hours coming by car.
When you come to Bac Yen district, should rent a motorbike from a rent shop to go down the pass to Ta Xua, motorbikes are rented for 150,000 VND a day ($7)
Hunting clouds in Ta Xua needs a lot of lucks, my friend came 6 times but still has not been able to see floating rattan. The easiest time to hunt for clouds is from October to March, this is a very beautiful time because Ta Xua will have golden rice terraces, a cloud paradise and a fair of the Hmong people. The climate here is extremely cool with an average temperature of 17 to 28 degrees, in winter it will be a bit colder, especially there will be ice or snow on the coldest day of the year.

Ta Xua has a lot of homestays with prices ranging from 80,000 to 200,000 VND per day. We stayed at Pomu Homestay - a lovely homestay with 2 wonderful and hospitable hosts.

What to do in Tà Xùa?
Hunting clouds: Try to get up early and hunt for clouds because it usually appears early in the morning before the sun comes up. The feeling of being immersed in a cloud paradise is wonderful, the sceney was very eye-catching, all fatigue is lost.
Exploring Dolphin Rock, Dinosaur Backbone: It's not too difficult to get the dolphin rock. Unfortunately, we went right after the rainy day so the road was very slippery and muddy, we fell but the process of discovering was memorable. The back of the dinosaur was quite difficult to conquer because of the bumpy and rough road. We won ourselves because of exploring destination.
Joining fair of Hmong people: On the traditional Tet holiday, the houses of the local people will hang a lot of colorful decorations and yellows dry corns. The market sells local specialties, people participate in fun folkgames and talk happily with each other.
What to eat?
Ta Xua belongs to the Northwest region with a typical cool climate and dense forests, rice field, so it is very well-known for its specialties such as black pig, Shan Tuyet tea, Lam rice.
Shan Tuyet tea is very fresh, it is believed that drinking this tea can decrease fatigue and stress. In addition, another identity of the Hmong ethnic group is drinking corn wine and rice wine; very delicious with BBQ
Fortunately, We had a very delicious dinner with Mr. Manh - the host of Pomu homestay. Unlike usual, he used a typical spice of the Northwest, Mắc mật leaves and Chấm chéo to marinate the meat (from black pig). When grilled, the pork is very fragrant and juicy.
My thoughts about Tà Xùa
I always think "Happiness is not a destination, it is a journey" and Ta Xua is a difficult journey that helps me step out of my comfort zone and dare to experience. 2 days 1 night staying here is really unforgettable for me. I made some new friends, learned about the story of starting a business - leaving the city to return to their hometown to earn money. I finally appreciate life more than ever.
Yayy, thank you so much for reading and wish you having a nice new week. Highly appreciate when you leave me a comment😁
