School days are the best days of life. Along with all my friends, I've been planning to do a small meet up to reminisce our school memories- but karachi's unpredictible weather. It has been raining heavily here for the past few days. We wanted to pick a nice spot to hang out after a long time. After a lot of attempts, a plan emerged in our group chat- we would meet by the seaside in the evening after Maghrib and everyone agreed to it. Good weather, good company, good view- it really excited me a lot.
I went to attend my classes at 8 in the morning. I returned home by 3, took a short nap, and skipped dinner, knowing we'd end up eating together later. Despite being exhausted and sleepy, the thought of seeing my old, close friends filled me with excitement.I hopped on my bike and, despite feeling worn out, I reached the seaside by 6 PM.
We took some photos and waited for the rest of our friends to arrive. One of them got delayed because of a flat tire, so we bought some snacks to munch on while we waited. Samosas and other treats kept us occupied, and then we moved closer to the shore.
Although the pictures didn't turn out great, the experience was priceless. Being with friends, making silly jokes, and enjoying the moment was incredible. We played around, threw sand at each other, and eventually sat down near the water.
It was a perfect evening of nostalgia and relaxation. We reminisced about our school days, the carefree times when homework seemed like the biggest challenge. Those days felt tough back then, but now, they seem like the best times of our lives.
As it got late and hunger struck, we decided to find a place to eat near Seaview. We ended up at A-One Snacks, where we ordered kadhai, handi, kababs, puris, and parathas. The food was delicious, and we captured the moment with more pictures.
This day was incredibly soothing and fun. Writing this post now, I realize how important it is to document these memories. Blogging allows me to keep all these precious moments in one place, with text and pictures to remember them by. It’s like having a gallery of cherished experiences that I can look back on anytime. There will be a day I'll be looking at these, smiling and reminiscing the best time of my life.
