This is the first post in a series of posts that I am considering doing. I Will travel to scenic locations in the West of Ireland and Further afield and take some photos to share here with the Steem community.
These posts will be more visual, than textual, but bear in mind that they require equal, if not more effort than more verbose and detailed written posts.
Let's get things started with these beautiful and serene mountains near Recess in Galway's Conamara.
We were blessed with the calmest of calm days and the glacial lakes were like bathwater.
Majestic Mountains
Mug of tea and a sandwich
We brought some tea along as it was a chilly day and of course a picnic too. The nosebag as they might call it in this part of Ireland is essential.
Walking near the old railway line
Just beyond Recess we walked along part of the old Galway to Clifden railway link. It was removed at the turn of the century before last.
Beautiful mountain and lake vista
This little piece of heaven is situated halfway between Cashel and Maan Cross and I hope you'll agreebs absolutely stunning.
Thanks so much for stopping by
I hope to do another similar post about other scenic places in the West of Ireland, if this one is popular.
