Hi, I'm Humberto, I'm 19 years old and I like creating things and #computing, which I used to do as a hobby and I'm currently in high school to learn more. When my sister mentioned #EDAT academy to me, I was very impressed to see that the subjects that I have always wanted to learn were within my reach and compressed into one place; Without hesitation I wrote twice to apply for the scholarship and luckily I managed to get in. From that point on I am like a child with a new toy learning everything I can and enjoying the quality of education there is.
Humberto is one of the 17 students who won a scholarship to attend the first year of maker training at EDAT. Our projects are convinced that the best way to combat poverty is through education. In fact our slogan as an academy is "hope through creativity"
My name is Abrahma Tansini. Graphic designer and illustrator. I am part of the team that carries out the EDAT project in Mérida-Venzuela. In fact I am the professor of the subject of analytical drawing, that studies the basic principles of drawing, composition and human anatomy. Drawing is an essential resource to communicate our ideas.
