Beetles are one of the insect species that have a unique life cycle. Beetles undergo a complete metamorphosis phase like butterflies. Lots of interesting facts going on with the life of beetles. Beetles are my favorite insect when I want to take pictures, because these insects are very friendly to humans and do not have active movements like wasps and bees which are very difficult to take pictures because they are always moving. The beetle in the picture is a black tiger beetle that I found on a jasmine flower in my yard. It is very easy to identify the tiger beetle because this beetle has a distinctive body shape.

The bigger be eyes and round of the stand out to be the main characteristics of this insect. The beetle's be eyes are able to provide a sharp sense of vision that is different from the vision of ordinary insects.
