I had some free time this weekend and I remembered I had this game installed, so I went to try the second mission. Last time when I finished the mission (first one) I selected go to Asylum option, what is this Asylum you might ask yourself? Well this is like an area between missions where you can play a mini game and buy some upgrades, but since I only have 1 mission completed I don't have the resources to get upgrades. I could barely afford to change my knife and even that was a bad idea in the end.
The first shop in the Asylum
As you can see by the number present under the upgrade icon and the number near the REMAINING, I can't really afford much!
The second shop in the Asylum, the one related to weapons!
In this second shop I saw I could afford a new melee weapon, the description sounded awesome and I bought it, awful idea because this thing barely does any damage, the enemies that took 1 hit from my knife now needed like 4 from this box, it's nice that it has a knock back effect but lacks damage and I'd rather have that for when I have no bullets instead of knock back.
So I started the second mission, needed to test this box so I kinda spammed it in the first minutes but once the real fight started it was no match for the madness running around, and also made me die because I was only thinking why did I buy this s**t box.
The action takes place in a town now, the atmosphere is still pretty cool and you still click headshots left and right while trying to survive and not be run over.
In terms of what this level brings new to the table it isn't much, there is this new type of enemy that uses a ranged weapon, some sort of automatic rifle that shoots a couple of bullets towards you.
Maybe some box jumping to avoid the water, making sure you have to control the movement a little bit more then before to hit the right timing and distance from one box to another.
And maybe the number of enemies increased, all the big fights felt like an increase in difficulty and risk, the game still feels nice, I thought myself that monotony might step in if it's only shooting, move to the next area do it again, clear a room, open a door and again shooting. We'll see how the third mission goes.
Until next episode, I am wishing you a great day!
Thanks for leveling up with me! 🎮
