Kvark

Kvark is an FPS game set in a fictional version of the 80s Czech Republic. The player finds themselves in an underground facility that is falling apart as they travel through it. They will have to navigate through dark tunnels and will encounter many obstacles and enemies that will test their skills.

Description taken from the official Steam page, Kvark

The official trailer of Kvark can be watched on the following link:

I'll let you check the full gameplay on my youtube channel, link below:

Here we are with the second mission, after going through the first mission relatively easy I wanted more, even though the game seems pretty basic sometimes, you run and gun no idea where I've heard this before.

The second mission packs you with a new weapon right after the beginning, you find a brand new shotgun laying on the table ready to slam some heads.

Unfortunately you get only a few bullets, like 6, and you can pack in the gun like 5 at a time, luckily there are plenty more to be found around during the mission.

Now with a wrench, pistol, rifle and a shotgun what could possible stop me, I asked myself, hehe but the game leveled up the enemies as well. The numbers increased and it feels like their damages punches higher, just watch how aggressive they are!

And I was stupid enough to try and use just the pistol first thinking I will save the ammo from the bigger guns just in case.

Roaming through the level, hitting heads left and right, exploring the rooms and halls.

Roaming, roaming roaming... until I found a new enemy, some type of machinery, sentry gun how could you call it, attached in the ceiling, ready to melt anything that moves through it's laser sensor.

And that was it for the second mission nothing else new happened, more waves of enemies rushing me from around the corner from time to time, I think I've had a second turret at one point, but it was easy to deal with now that I knew how it reacts.

The only thing that caught my attention by the end of the level is this area showed in the screenshot below:

I think the game is trying to tell me that something else is going to wait me in the next level, looks like there might be some "monsters" / "mutants" coming next. Can't wait to try the next level. If you haven't tried the game yet give it a chance or wish list it who knows, one day out of boredom or during a sale you might try it!

Until next episode, I am wishing you a great day!

Thanks for leveling up with me! 🎮
