I was scrolling one evening randomly on twitch looking for a livestream to watch while working, or at least have it in the background as noise. Well, twitch has that left panel with all your followers and right below it it's a section for Recommender Channels. I sometimes take a peak there, maybe I see something new to play or someone new to follow, that's where I found this game, someone was demolishing robots left and right with cool weapons, the animations and effects were looking awesome, it was pretty fast-paced and somehow it resembled a game I played many years ago that had the same system, can't remember exactly the name.
I saved it and today it was the right time to play it. I will leave the full gameplay I have from the first round ever playing, I thought it would be much longer but the enemies difficulty increased faster then I expected.
Full Gameplay below on my youtube channel:
The main mechanic I see in the game so far is you are fighting different "rooms" or caves whatever we could call them, you wipe everything inside and after a number of caves you can upgrade your stats, you get to pick cards that give you extra damage, health, resistance, ammo etc. and also from time to time you get to change your weapon. For the weapon it looks like they have a rarity stat, probably as you progress you can get rare weapons with special traits and stats, so far I've seen only common and maybe uncommon weapons.
You'll understand the game better if you take a peak at the gameplay.
Maybe you don't have time to watch the gameplay so I will try to convince you with some screenshots and some GIFs, maybe you'd want to give it a try.
Below I created a GIF with all the weapons I've encountered so far, just watch how many options I've had in about 20 minutes of gameplay.
Each weapon being totally different from the others, some have AOE damage some extra critical, some reload after each shot, each one has it's pros and cons. I will show you some GIFs below with the weapons.
Some weird looking sniper rifle
The miss everything automatic rifle
Mini rocket shooter
And now, one of my favorite weapons I've had this gameplay, I liked it because it had AOE damage and the projectile felt like shooting fireworks.
The happy new year weapon!
The first run was fun, I will continue to play it and explore it's mechanics, in the next part hopefully I can give you more details about it, who knows maybe there's a story behind all this.
I hope there is a way to build your robot through upgrades enough times to become an unbeatable machine where you could simply walk in the middle of a fight without the fear of getting damage fast and losing the match.
Let's see what next part brings to the table...
Until next episode, I am wishing you a great day!
Thanks for leveling up with me! 🎮
