My friends of WORLD OF XPILAR I invite you to see this image and to reflect if any of you, a relative or a friend still has birds in cages, birds are very beautiful enjoying their freedom, we all see them in their natural state and it is incomprehensible that they can be kept prisoners.
In this digital work I wanted to represent a bird of prey, they are beautiful birds, of fast flight and very varied colours, they need their freedom to live, to procreate and to maintain the balance between the species.
The work made in PHOTOSHOP has been designed in several layers, starting with a blue background, where various plant forms converge and mainly highlights an eye that observes from the centre, I like to use a variety of eye shapes because it is an element that details, the eye is very important in the life of living beings.
The same background has been tripled and placed in different spaces giving it movement, volume and texture, this makes us see a non-static work, even though the elements are repeated they do not stay in the same place.
The bird that looks at us behind a wire fence is a kind of hawk, in my country they are called sparrow hawks, they are very fast birds of prey and inhabit the great savannahs, it is not strange that in some places they are trained to hunt but in the same way they are in a kind of prison, they are still not free.
The work is complemented with a frame that has been extracted from the same work, with it depth is created by giving bevels and shadows and makes all the other elements move away from the main plane, I note that on the image of the bird has been applied 46% transparency to integrate it into the background and let the objects behind it show through.
The barbed wire in my work is a symbol of prison, of something that prevents us from moving forward, here more than in any other work it prevents the bird's flight, it condemns it to live enclosed, to no longer be a symbol of freedom.
I have always thought that birds should not be in cages, they should not be ornaments, they are living beings that suffer, that is why I would like anyone who has imprisoned birds to give them freedom, that is a way of respecting life.
