HELPING THOSE IN NEED

The world is full of people in street situations, human beings disinherited by fate, abandoned by different circumstances, of which we are not interested in knowing, it is enough that we look for the way to contribute so that these people have a better situation, can have at least the bread for a day.

We do not know their names, what they did before, if they were professionals or what circumstances are now living in unfortunate situations, there we find young men, old people, children, women and many other beings who have a history, a past and a sad present.

Many countries in the world are living very dark moments, the economic crises are affecting many families, wages and salaries are very low and families are large, this leads many parents to have to go out to work in unfortunate conditions, children are exposed to high risks, sometimes they also go out to work, this makes unstable homes, there is no good source of income and less good education.

Beyond the situations of unstable homes and families in critical conditions, there are other issues such as alcoholism, drugs, prostitution, abandoned children, mental illness, homelessness, displaced by wars and others, all these macro issues have to do with the individual way of those who suffer and there is how we can help.

In every country there are representatives of organizations such as the UN International Red Cross, International Red Crescent, Caritas, Unicef, Doctors without borders and others, through them we can collaborate, either by joining directly as volunteers or by making contributions to buy supplies, all this is very useful.

The condition of children and the elderly is of great concern, there are millions of them in a very risky situation, they are exposed to diseases, malnutrition and a latent danger that they can be used by criminal organizations to carry out criminal situations, it is necessary that international foundations are committed to seek solutions in conjunction with the governments of different countries, also these governments can help by improving health, education and housing, agencies such as the International Monetary Fund or the World Bank, are of great help to solve.

From our communities we can be of great help by donating clothes that are not damaged, food, shoes, school supplies that can be used again, collaborate in hospitals where groups of people do humanitarian work, sometimes something very simple is of great value to another person, the value of a hug, a word, creates hope, many people are alone, sometimes days go by without anyone talking to them, it is necessary to promote human solidarity, we must retake the spiritual and moral values.

Certainly with our attitude we are not going to improve the condition of all, but we can be part of the thousands and thousands who seek solution, we also understand that not everyone can help because many times despite wanting to collaborate we also have our own problems, but keep it in mind and when you can help someone will thank you, help and give your helping hand without looking at who waits for you.
