This is the last winter Sunday of the 2024-2025 season. This field is just over 1000 km from my house and about 100 km from Moscow.
The amazing and unusual winter is behind us. It was the warmest winter in my memory. What was that? This is a trend of climate change and winters are getting really warmer, or it was an anomaly that won't happen again next season.
One of my methods of dividing people is their attitude to winter. The first category enjoys a warm winter, while the second wants to see cold winters with frosts.
I consider myself in the first category.
