Title: Mother and Child
The work shows a mother with the lips emphasized caused by nagging to correct the ills of her stubborn child who in turn pay little or no attention to her instructions
Below are the different steps I took before the final work
The sketch
The blocking stage( where I started applying colors)
And then, the finishing
I decorated the sides of the work with some indigenous 'Nsibidi' patterns
