It’s been a week since I posted here and so I wanted to showcase a personal project of mine that I’ve been working for a very long time now. It’s probably one of the projects that took me the longest time for me to accomplish. It isn’t a really difficult project per se but it took me a while to determine the direction of my design process. I had too many revisions since I’m not convinced with the kind of look that I wanted to accomplish.
Another reason that prolongs my process is my selection of 3d assets that went into the scene.
Firstly, the 3d trees that I used are memory intensive. It means that most of them are extremely detailed and they took a substantial amount of time to render. And I have a variety of them in this scene. I think I used about 10 types of heavily detailed 3d trees. With the laptop computer that I have, my rig is struggling to render a single image.
The basic specs of my laptop are:
Windows 8.1 64-bit
Intel Core i7
16gig RAM
A 10-year old machine like this is not good enough to handle a scene beyond what I did in this 3d project. And if I add a few more assets, the rendering process will crash before it completes the final result:
Below is the render process breakdown:
Aside from the front view, I also rendered additional views to show the other views of the house:
In this view, I showed the other side of the house from the swimming pool. As I have mentioned in my previous posts, I almost always make sure to add water element to my 3d scene. It makes it more interesting, especially the reflection in particular.
The reflection is actually a time & memory saver for the 3d scene. It requires no memory and only requires very little for the software to calculate the rendering process.
That's all I have for now.
I hope you find it interesting and thank you for your support to my post!
P.S.
It looks like the attached images are not showing as quick as it used to, there is some sort of delay in displaying images.
Hi @artdescry
Great architecture, wish I lived in such a house.
I know what you're struggling with when giving the rendering process in the pictures. I bought a more powerful PC, but I still experience crashes when I put too many elements in my digital images that I create

It's a real struggle and sometimes very frustrating. The good thing about your desktop is that it can be upgraded while my laptop is not. However it should not limit our imagination to produce designs the way we wanted.
Thank you for checking on my 3d work. It's a pleasure to be sharing it to the World of Xpilar.
Have a great day!
