A tattoo is a form of body modification that is made by injecting ink into a layer of skin in your body. It is primarily done to express yourself to others and sometimes to memorize something or someone in your life. I might be completely wrong here but in my mind I feel like getting a Tattoo should always mean something rather than doing it just to look cool or in the spur of the moment.
A Tattoo with a storyline behind it always has a greater value for me than just people who like to get tattoos just for fun. I say this because I recently met a guy who got an Arm Tattoo of a Tribal Sign when I asked about it he had no clue what he had in his arm, which I feel is just disrespectful towards the tribe that goes with that Tattoo.
Just Imagine a guy just wearing the Army Uniform and going out for his daily jobs wouldn't that make you uncomfortable and ask him if he is indeed in the army or not?
A Tattoo holds a similar or closeby status so I for one would never get tattooed until and unless there is a deeper meaning to that Tattoo. For starters, I and my wife at one point wanted to get matching tattoos but later swayed away from it as we felt that we should let our relationship flourish with time later down the road when it is our 10th Anniversary we could both get some Meaningful Tattoos on our bodies.
So if you ask me about my views on tattoos I would say that tattoos are good if you have a proper meaning towards that Tattoo of yours and I will probably get one when I feel like I have a cause for it.
