Today is the 12th of May and it is Mother's Day so I really wanted to spend the entire day with my Mom in every way possible but I was in a place quite far away from her and it took me almost 8 hours to reach home and then stay the entire time with my mom. Now thanks to the lack of time I couldn't prepare anything special for my Mom but at the very last moment I was able to get her favorite sweets for her and even though I couldn't do anything special for her my Mom was very happy with it.
This is Jalebi which is an Indian Sweet and it happens to be my Mother's favourite sweet. Truth be told it was raining today and it was definitely tough to find this particular sweet as not all Sweet Shop makes this sweet. But there was a Mela going on and I was able to get my Mom's favourite sweet for her.
Truth be told I did have something planned for Mother's Day and a small gift as well but my mom just hates Surprises and when I asked her if she wanted the gift she scolded me hard and just asked me to be with her and that's why I just left everything and rushed to meet my Mom as soon as possible.
But that being said I am definitely not happy without gifting anything to my Mom. So I have decided to gift my Mom a much needed Spa Day for her which I feel like she will most definitely appreciate, and I know I will get a little bit of scolding as well for spending a huge sum of Money on her gift but hey I am OK with getting a little bit of scolding to see my Mom happy.
