ENGLISH

This leaf ornamental plant is quite popular in Indonesia and he has a name that is quite unique as well, namely Tongue-in-law. It is said that the tongue is called in-law because this plant has leaves with sharp shapes. Apparently the tongue-in-law are all sharp huh? there = there are some who first gave a name like this.

The in-law of the tongue plant that I shared here, I found its existence in a small flower garden located on the side of the road. The tongue-in-law is not only a decorative name of a naumn garden but it can also be used as an ornamental plant in a house yard either planted in pots or directly to the ground. In addition to being planted in pots placed in the home yard, the in-law tongue can also be an ornamental plant in the house, because it can live with little sun or water

I almost sure we have those plants here in México too, here are called Espada de San Jorge (Sword of St. George) or Sansivieria. They are common in houses as decorative plants. You have described them so well and it was curious to know the name in your home.
