Opening my computer today and being able to access the Internet despite warnings that rolling blackouts are possible which will negate this opportunity I thought about what can be considered what we call the heat of comfort beyond which we sometimes have to find ourselves.
Often when choosing a car an important factor to pay attention to is comfort.
Air conditioning, heated seats lectric windows central locking and other gadgets according to sellers turn the car into a kind of mobile spa salon where you will forget about everything in the world and only enjoy the ride.
I had the opportunity to drive different cars with varying degrees of comfort but I come to the conclusion that comfort is not something to rely on, it is much more important to be able to get from point A to point B in any weather conditions and on any road on this piece of iron.
In many ways this does not depend on the vehicle’s cross-country ability or its equipment; as a rule a sense of responsibility works better here for example when my family is in the car and they believe that I can handle this task.
On the road there were various difficult situations in which comfort could not help to overcome obstacles especially since sometimes as during heavy fogs when fog lights could not help I had to leave the cozy interior of the car get out of it go forward and explore the further path on foot.
When the car sits on its belly up to its ears in snow comfort is the least you can think of because you have to go to the neighboring village and look for a tractor that will pull the car out of the snow trap.
In such moments comfort does not depend on the status of the car but only on the mercy of God to the one who found himself in such a situation.
