Pushing threw relapse and continuing my mission to understand the message in the Bible

• God inspired holy men to to write the scriptures, with the intention of communicating his will and statutes to future generations.

• With time these writings needed to be copied and distributed so that they could have access to Gods will. This duty belonged to the priests and was then assigned to the scribes again. The excellence of work they did to duplicate the originals made these copies highly trust worthy and preserved the original text of the old testament.

• The Babylonians destroyed Jerusalem in 586 BC and the originals were lost so the copies were distributed to the Jews in captivity.
• The copies of the scribes were then replaced with transcriptions made by groups of scholars and Jewish critics called Masoretes.
• They the Masoretes preserved the quality of work done by the scribes and that is how Masoretic text of the old testament came about.
• As the early churches grew many copies were made of the apostles new testament.
• The original manuscripts no longer exist and what we have today are copies of copies. However not all of them can be considered as genuine.
• Attempts were made to improve the text regarding grammatical aspects for example swapping some words that were very similar in meaning compromising not only the text itself but the message as well as in some versions and versus or even chapters have been changed.

My personal thoughts

To officially understand and absorb any of this information for our personal development we have have to work with the facts that align with the what may seem like the true nature of God as most of the information we have today was compromised by time. However to see eventual change its the risk I am willing to take as logically it makes sense also based on the testimonies I have encountered in my time.
