Hello Steemit friends! How are you today? In this post I want to share a story about the Horseweed Flowers or Synedrella Nodiflora.
Horseweed flowers, or Synedrella Nodiflora, are plentiful behind my house. It’s no surprise, as there’s an overgrown garden there. Considering the small size of these flowers, I had to use an external macro camera to capture their essence.
Synedrella Nodiflora is an agricultural weed with a strong, distinctive odor that resembles the smell of pond scum. This invasive plant thrives in protected areas.
These flowers favor slightly shaded spots and are almost always sun-kissed. They are commonly found in yards, by the roadside, along water channels, in fields, or on unproductive, abandoned land.
Despite being a weed, its leaves are used to soothe aching stomachs. Typically, the leaves are crushed together with Ageratum conyzoides leaves, sweet broomweed, and slaked lime. The resulting paste is applied to the abdomen. Moreover, this weed is also effective as a topical remedy for alleviating rheumatic pain.
The yellow hue that covers the entire flower petal exudes beauty. I quickly took out my Vivo v23e camera and attached the external macro lens to fully appreciate this flower’s beauty. Here is the image of the flower that I captured with my camera. I hope you find it as enchanting as I do.
That's my post today. Hope it is useful. Thank you for your attention.
