Just a Few Words Before I Run Out of Steam!

Yes, the title of this post is definitely a play on words. At the same time, it's also true that I'm very tired as a result of having done a lot of work since last Friday.

I think I briefly mentioned that Mrs. Denmarkguy and I were going to be participating as vendors at an arts and crafts show this past weekend, and that is precisely what we did.

Of course there is much more to doing such a thing than merely showing up for a couple of days... there's all the preparation ahead of time, followed by a certain amount of unpacking and organization once we get everything home again… after all, the post-show "breakdown" tends to be carried out in rather a hurry!

Then we finally reach the stage I currently find myself in. which is trying to decompress and relax.

Sad as it may sound, I have come to recognize that one aspect of the aging process is definitely that we don't bounce back as fast from intense periods of work as we once did.

One of the ways I know that I actually am really tired is that writing is normally a sort of catharsis and relaxation for me... and I just haven't felt like doing any, since this weekend.

Writing always was my go-to when I was younger; even when I was a teenager writing in my journal was one of my few escapes, as well as an outlet to deal with a lot of my frustrations of being a teenager.

So, I almost decided to not come here and write a few words for a sixth day in a row... because I just didn't feel up for it, and that tells you how tired I am!

These days, my energy seems to come and go in waves a lot more than it used to. At the moment, I'm finding myself down at the bottom of one of the valleys between the high points of those waves. I suppose these wild swings back and forth aren't exactly the best way to approach keeping a blog, but it's the best I have to offer, sorry.

Meanwhile, I'm happy to see that it finally appears that the TRX rewards issue has been resolved, or at least appears to have been resolved. Yay for small blessings!

In truth, those rewards went unpaid for so long that I don't really have an accurate record of what I should have received during the dead period. I just know that the balance in my TRX wallet is starting to take up again and I'm grateful for that.

And, on that light note, I think I'm gonna call it quits for today.

Oh… and not to worry, it's not Steem I'm running out of... nor am I quitting here!
