ONE VIDEO, ONE STORY

Gregory has been very fond of hunting since childhood. In those days, he and I were working together in the valley of Kazeeranga. Gregory lived in the forest rest house where our project work was going on. The rest house was ten kilometers away from there. Gregory used to go to work by motorcycle.

One day in the evening, when he was returning from work, he heard the roar of a lion. Gregory had just moved a little further when he saw a lion. George took the motorcycle back to the rest house.

The next day, a man told Gregory, "Yesterday the lion injured a woman in the forest; she was saved because her dog attacked the lion. The poor woman had come to the forest to collect grass and firewood." Gregory felt very angry. He took his gun and immediately went towards the forest. Some other people also wanted to join him, but he stopped them outside and walked alone inside the forest. He could hear the lion roaring from a distance.

Gregory waited for the lion for a while. But when the lion was nowhere to be seen, he started firing in excitement, expecting the lion to come and attack him. Just then, the lion came out from inside a bush and ran away, injuring one of our workers who was standing close to that bush.

Slowly, the lion's attacks started increasing. Everyone would be in a hurry to run home before the sun set. No one knew where the lion might come out and attack. One day, that lion attacked and killed a boy. Gregory once again started looking for him. He moved forward, searching for the lion's paw marks during the night. Those traces took him to the edge of the pond, but there too, the lion was not to be found.

One day, an old farmer came crying. The lion had taken away his goat. When he heard the old man's plight, Gregory promised himself that he would kill the lion. He went to the jungle, looking at the marks of the goat being dragged. After searching for a long time, he saw only a dead goat. But that lion was not there.

There were thick bushes all around, and it was a dark night. Gregory was all alone. He climbed a tree and sat down. Night fell, and the moonlight was scattered all around. Insects were humming their own music. Gregory felt as if the lion was standing near the goat. But after looking carefully, he found that it was a fox.

Suddenly, Gregory felt a rustle behind him. When he looked back, he felt that he was going to die. A snake was sitting on the back branch with its hood spread. The bullets that Gregory had filled in the gun for the lion stained all of them on the snake. After that, Gregory had a troubled night.

Somehow he reached the rest house and fell ill. Friends admitted him to the hospital. He stayed in the hospital for a long time. During this time, the lion's attacks increased as he used to hunt one or the other every day.

After getting well, Gregory was sitting in the rest house, reading the newspaper. Then he heard the sound of people shouting. It was learned that a lion had attacked a woman bringing fodder. The woman climbed a tree out of fear. No one had the courage to go to save her. Gregory quickly took out his gun and ran to help the woman.

Until we could stop him, he had gone too far. Gregory's wife's brother, Alex, who was there to take care of him, also followed him. Gregory reached the forest and started searching for the woman who had climbed the tree. Soon, he saw the woman. The woman signaled to Gregory that the lion was hiding in the nearby bushes. He tried hard, but he could not see the lion.

After a while, he saw some movement in the bushes. When he looked carefully, he saw a lion hiding in the bush. Gregory took aim and fired. But what is this? The gun was empty. He was convinced that the lion would not leave him now. He was shocked and in a deep panic, he could not understand anything.

Gregory thought his last time had come. Seeing death in front of him, his head started spinning badly. Only then did the lion slowly get up from there and start moving towards Gregory. He could not think of anything in his panic. He quickly started climbing a nearby small tree.

But suddenly the lion made a jump and pressed the paw of his leg into its mouth. Gregory lost his senses. In panic, the branch of the tree was about to be released from his hands when suddenly there was a sound of fire. A bullet hit the lion's forehead, and it fell to the ground. This bullet was fired by Alex who was following Gregory in the dark.
