Yeah, times have changed. I hope that we can revisit that time.
In any economic system (a nation in this example)…a large, strong, middle class…meaning, most of the people hold most of the wealth (at least), contributes to more wealth overall, including the top 1%.
It increases foreign direct investment (money coming into a system externally), population growth (people go where the money/opportunity is), technological advancement (these nations attract intellectual talent), increased productivity (when people make more money, they are happier usually, and are more efficient), etc…
If we apply these principles to steemit, as if it were a nation-state, we can have some real potential.
Steemit can be huge…and make a whole lot of people a lot of money… as long as the majority of people are making that money.
