Hello Steemit! , my name is Francisco Torrealba, I am 21 years old, i'm born in the beautiful city of Merida, in Venezuela, I live in Caracas, the capital of my country, many know it, some for good things, others for some not so good things. I am a student of mechanical engineering at the Metropolitan University, and I work as a technician in electronics and I'm studying trading.

Let’s talk a little more about me... why Fransn0w? (Geektime hahahaha)
It is a funny story and above all interesting besides being a beautiful memory... About 8 years ago as a child, I started to like the topic of technology and electronics, it was the times of the iPhone 3GS and my parents had given me the iPhone, being this my first smartphone, I wanted to customize it, modify it and exploit its full potential, by that time, I too would roam and surf the internet between many blogs and forums. In one of those many days I got something called Jailbreak, which caught my attention, I researched it I studied and in the end I installed it (with much fear of ruining my new phone, to tell you the truth) began the moment to customize my cell phone.
Each day I learned and tried new and interesting things. I signed up for many forums and chats to share opinions and tips, but when I signed up, I didn’t get that unique and personal nickname that nobody else had, it was always my name along with a lot of meaningless numbers, which I disliked, It was there that came to me a nickname that for so long has identified me and represented me on the internet, "Fransn0w" which comes from the mixture of words between Fran (diminutive of my name) and Sn0w (last 4 letters of that program with which I started my history with technology). Since then and until now it has been "unique, personal and original" all thanks to that Jailbreak tool called Redsn0w.
Hobbies
Fish & Aquariums
The first and main, the aquariums and fish tanks... recreate nature in a small space, my taste for fish comes from small alike, and has become part of my life being them my favorite pet, some will say "Fish only swim here and there" or "the fish have memory of 1 minute", the truth is that no, who has had or has them, knows very well that they are more interesting and intelligent than what is rumored, presenting even traits and behaviors that we could call "personalities". They have hierarchies, different and complex reproductive processes, tastes, preferences communication processes, even if they do not bark, meow or sing, they are pets that can learn to recognize people and establish a relationship with who is their caretaker. I have always thought that the bigger the fish, the smarter.

both are the most intelligent fish species that can be kept as a pet at home.
Bowling
Another of my hobbies and my favorite sport is bowling, this is a story that comes from before I was born, thanks to my grandfather and my father.
A complex sport, where physics, dynamics and even mathematics apply. has always been a part of my life and will remain so.
Vaping
Another of my hobbies and also the tool that helped me quit smoking is vaping. It has been 6 years since I doesn't started smoking again thanks to vaping, (I could consume 1 carton of cigarettes daily at the age of 15, depending on my mood) which affected my health enormously. My parents sought to help me in many ways, nicotine patches, nicotine gum, even hypnosis but nothing worked.
One Christmas my mother gave me my first vape, very simple and discreet, had strawberry dessert aftertaste which was my favorite! From there began my change, little by little I was leaving behind the cigarettes and at the same time I was learning how that electronic device I had in hand worked (I tell you that electronics is in my life hahaha).
From there I was researching and I ended up leaving the cigarette, and at the same time it became my hobby, because every day an accessory or a new piece comes out and there are always new flavors to try.
It also became one of my jobs! By that time I used to repair some cell phones, I had the tools and I did a small workshop at home, one day my vape stopped working, and I set out to repair it, it looked like a mobile phone, had logicboard, screen and components similar to those I knew, so I repaired it.
I liked what I did so much that I offered my job, I learned, I studied more, and it all developed on its own, now what began as the solution to my smoking problem, became my hobby and also a job, if you read this post and this story and you are a smoker and want to quit, I invite you to consult well with people who have knowledge on the subject and take the first step to stop such addiction, the vaping allowed me to improve my health progressively and improve my lifestyle, maybe you can work too.

But, ¿how did I get here?
I’d heard before about Steemit, some friends used to use it and always said, "You can make money out of it!" , I think everyone here was curious to make some extra money, so we came in and read a little bit.
In my free time I used to be a freelancer, I used PTC platforms, filling out surveys, doing slaving mini-jobs among others, none met my expectations or was monotonous and tired.
So one afternoon I checked out what Steemit was all about, first I saw it as a way to make money, spent time reading posts and learning new things and getting to know stories in Steemit, little by little I realized that it’s not just about making some extra money, it is a community of people who share experiences, anecdotes and knowledge, a community where every word counts and where there is a space for everyone, I felt and feel comfortable, writing and telling stories of my life or sharing knowledge through writing is good and interesting to me.
This is my first post from many others who will come (I am sure of it) and I am happy to be an active part of this community, with how little or much I can share with you, thank you very much. to all those who read so far and thank you very much for your comments and opinions, I hope you liked my story, which is a small summary of me!

Hola Steemit!, mi nombre es Francisco Torrealba, tengo 21 años, naci en la bella ciudad de Mérida, en Venezuela, vivo en Caracas, la capital de mi país, muchos la conocen, algunos por cosas buenas, otros por algunas cosas no tan buenas. Hablemos un poco más sobre mi... ¿por qué Fransn0w? (Geektime jajaja)
Es una historia un tanto graciosa y sobretodo interesante además de ser un bonito recuerdo... Hace aproximadamente 8 años siendo un niño, comenzó a gustarme el tema de la tecnología y la electrónica, eran los tiempos del iPhone 3GS y mis padres me habían regalado el iPhone, siendo este mi primer teléfono inteligente, quise personalizarlo, modificarlo y explotar todo su potencial, para aquel momento, también yo rondaba y navegaba por la internet entre muchos blogs y foros.
En uno de esos tantos días me conseguí algo llamado Jailbreak, cosa que llamó mi atención, investigué lo estudié y al final lo instalé (con mucho miedo de estropear mi nuevo teléfono, a decir verdad) , comenzó el momento de personalizar mi teléfono celular, cada día aprendía y probaba cosas nuevas e interesantes. me registré en muchos foros y chats para compartir opiniones y consejos, pero al registrarme, no conseguía ese apodo "ideal" único y personal que más nadie tuviese, siempre era mi nombre junto con muchos números sin sentido, cosa que me desagradaba, fue allí donde llego a mi un apodo que durante tanto tiempo me ha identificado y representado en internet, "Fransn0w" el cual proviene de la mezcla de palabras entre Fran (diminutivo de mi nombre) y Sn0w (ultimas 4 letras de aquel programa con el cual inició mi historia con la tecnología). desde entonces y hasta ahora ha sido "unico, personal y original" todo gracias a esa herramienta de Jailbreak llamada Redsn0w.
Pasatiempos y hobbies
Peces y acuarios.
El primero y principal, los acuarios y peceras... recrear naturaleza en un pequeño espacio, mi gusto por los peces viene desde pequeño igualmente, y se ha transformado en parte de mi vida siendo ellos mi mascota preferida, algunos dirán "Los peces solo nadan de aquí para allá" o "los peces tienen memoria de 1 minuto", la verdad es que no, quien los ha tenido o los tiene, sabe muy bien que son mas interesantes e inteligentes que lo que se rumorea, presentando incluso rasgos y conductas que podríamos llamar "personalidades". Poseen jerarquías, diferentes y complejos procesos reproductivos, gustos, preferencias procesos de comunicación, aunque no ladren, maúllen o canten son mascotas que pueden aprender a reconocer personas y entablar relación con quien es su cuidador. siempre he pensado que el pez mientras más grande, mas inteligente.

Bowling
Otro de mis pasatiempos y mi deporte favorito es el bowling o boliche, una historia que viene desde antes de yo nacer, gracias a mi abuelo y a mi padre, un deporte complejo, donde se aplica la física, la dinámica y hasta las matemáticas. siempre ha sido parte de mi vida y lo seguirá siendo.
Vaping
Otro de mis hobbies y también la herramienta que me ayudó a dejar el tabaquismo es el vapeo o vaping.
Hace ya 6 años que gracias al vaping no he vuelto a fumar, (con 15 años podía consumir 1 caja de cigarrillos diaria, dependiendo mi estado de ánimo) cosa que afectaba mi salud enormemente. Mis padres buscaron ayudarme de muchas formas, parches de nicotina, chicles de nicotina, incluso hipnosis pero nada funcionaba.
Una navidad mi madre me obsequió mi primer vaporizador, muy sencillo y discreto, tenia sabor a postre de fresa el cual era mi favorito! de allí comenzó mi cambio, poco a poco fui dejando atrás los cigarrillos y al mismo tiempo aprendía como funcionaba ese aparto electrónico que tenia en manos (les digo que la electrónica es lo mio jajaja).
De allí fui investigando probando y termine por dejar el cigarrillo, y al mismo tiempo se convirtió en mi hobbie, porque cada día sale un accesorio o una pieza nueva y siempre hay nuevos sabores que probar.
También se convirtió en uno de mis trabajos! Para ese momento yo solía reparar algunos teléfonos celulares, tenia las herramientas e hice un pequeño taller en casa, un día mi vaporizador dejo de funcionar, y me dispuse a repararlo, parecía un teléfono móvil, tenia tarjeta lógica, pantalla y componentes similares a los que conocía, lo reparé.
Tanto me gustó lo que logré que ofrecí mi trabajo, aprendí, estudié más, y todo se desarolló por si solo, ahora aquello que comenzó siendo la solución a mi problema de tabaquismo, se convirtió en mi hobbie y también en un trabajo, si tu que lees este post y esta historia eres fumador y deseas dejarlo, te invito a que te asesores bien con personas que tengan conocimiento en el tema y des el primer paso para dejar tal adicción, el vaporizador me permitió mejorar mi salud progresivamente y mejorar mi estilo de vida, quizás a ti te pueda funcionar también.

Me gusta la fotografía y por supuesto escribir, una imagen puede decir muchas cosas, pero la escritura no omite detalles y da paso a la expresión de cada uno de nosotros. aprovecho para dejar mi aporte a la comunidad de World of Xpilar con algunas fotografías tomadas por mi.

Pero, y ¿cómo llegue aquí?
Había escuchado antes de Steemit, algunos amigos solían usarlo y siempre decían "con ello puedes ganar dinero!", creo que a todos los que estamos aquí la curiosidad por ganar algo de dinero extra nos hizo entrar a leer un poco.
En mis tiempos libres suelo ejercer como freelancer, usaba plataformas PTC, llenando encuestas, haciendo minitrabajos esclavizantes entre otros, ninguno cumplía mis expectativas o me resultaba monótono y cansado.
Así que una tarde chequee de que se trataba Steemit, primero lo vi como una forma de ganar dinero, pasé tiempo leyendo posts y aprendiendo cosas nuevas y conociendo historias en Steemit, poco a poco me fui dando cuenta que no solo se trata de generar algún dinero extra, sino que se trata de una comunidad de personas que comparten experiencias, anécdotas y conocimientos, una comunidad donde cada palabra cuenta y donde hay un espacio para cada quien, me sentí y me siento cómodo, escribir y relatar historias de mi vida o compartir conocimientos por medio de la escritura me resulta bueno e interesante.
Este es mi primer post de muchos otros que vendrán (estoy seguro de ello) y me alegra ser parte activa de esta comunidad, con lo poco o mucho que pueda compartir con ustedes, muchas gracias. a todos los que leyeron hasta aquí y muchas gracias por, sus comentarios y opiniones, espero que les haya gustado mi historia, la cual es un pequeño resumen de mi!
