I just had to show you this, this is the second time I have seen this the last time was about twenty five years ago on an antenna tower where I used to work. In any case, as I was going to the waterfront I heard someone say Aguila and I wondered what it was about and them somebody showed me this Harpy Eagle perched on an, at least, one hundred foot high antenna. What it was doing in town is beyond me. But the funny thing is, I got home and told my son and a girl who lives here, and would you believe about half an hour later the girl shouted to me, the Eagle was eating a rat on a mango tree branch right in my yard. But as I went out to see it flew off so I got no picture.
Also I wish I had had my daughters iPhone for these pictures, my Sony Xperia is just lousy as a camera. Still I think you can see the beauty of this bird even if only in outline.
