Here we are, at the concluding part of the series. It has been an incredible journey, and I am thrilled to finally share the last chapter with you all. We've explored so much together, and I can't wait for you to see how it all comes together.
Now that the prototype was completed, it was time for the CLF team to visit Pakistan and have an in-person meeting with us. The day finally arrived, and the team came to Pakistan. They invited us to Nizam Industry for the meeting.
As I mentioned earlier, Nizam Industry is a one-and-a-half-hour drive from our house. The day began with us taking a cab to the factory. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed and invited into the conference room. There, we met the CLF team members, Marina and Jenny, for the first time. We were thrilled to finally meet them in person. After some excited greetings and small talk, we took our seats, ready to begin the meeting.
Once everyone had arrived and taken their seats, the team started the meeting with an introductory presentation. They provided a comprehensive overview of the project and the work they do on their side, focusing primarily on sustainability. It was an incredibly informative presentation, and we learned a lot about sustainability practices.
After the presentation, we moved on to a question and answer session, where we had the opportunity to clear up any questions we had. Following the brief Q&A session, it was time for refreshments. We enjoyed tea, biscuits, and some fried items.
After the refreshments, it was finally time to present our work. Each of us took turns showcasing our projects to the CLF and Nizam teams. Presenting in front of both teams was quite nerve-wracking, but as the moment arrived, it turned into an insightful and rewarding experience. We had our full presentations ready, and I presented my prototype to them. They were quite pleased with the idea and its execution, asking several questions about the design. Presenting my work to the entire team was an invaluable experience.
After the presentations, we engaged in a discussion about all the products, focusing on how we could enhance them further. We discussed aspects like packaging and functionality in detail. After a brief but productive discussion, we concluded the meeting on a positive note. We then took a group photo to mark the occasion.
After the meeting concluded, we extended an invitation to the CFL team members and invited them to dinner as our guests, eager to host them. They graciously accepted our invitation, and we decided to meet for dinner at 9:00 PM at the hotel where they were staying. With ample time before dinner, we decided to create handmade gifts for them as tokens to remember us by. Given my expertise in creating handmade beaded items for my online store, I crafted personalized letter beaded keychains for each of them. Meanwhile, my other team members purchased chocolates and printed our group photo taken earlier. Combining these elements, we created the cutest customized gifts for our guests.
At 9:00 PM sharp, we arrived at the hotel and messaged them to let them know we had arrived. We gathered at the table we had reserved and promptly ordered food since we were all hungry. As we started chatting casually, our conversations ranged from discussing different foods and cultures to sharing our favorite places and foods for them to explore in Pakistan. It turned into a lively and enjoyable dinner, where we also showcased various projects we had worked on.
We ordered a variety of dishes including pizza, pasta, fish, and vegetables, knowing they particularly enjoyed fish. The night turned out to be filled with laughter, making it a memorable evening with our guests.
After dinner, we took a group photo to capture the moment. Knowing they had an early morning flight back, we bid our farewells. It was truly an incredible day, filled with memorable experiences from presenting our work to enjoying dinner together. We cherished every moment spent with them and felt grateful for the opportunity to connect and collaborate.
So, this concludes our project journey. I hope you've enjoyed following along with the process. For those who may be starting here, I invite you to read the first two parts of the series to get a complete picture of our journey from start to finish. Thank you for joining us on this adventure!
