Yesterday, it was another day of cycling through the beautiful terrains of Bunyonyi and Kisoro with my longtime friends; Clare and Godfrey. It was some years ever since Clare met us and this time time she decided to visit Uganda to meet both of us. She loves mountain biking and hiking mountains so this part of the country was a perfect one for her since has a lot of mountains and nice trails of cycling.
We decided to take a whole day cycling for fun from lake Bunyonyi communities to the deeper Kisoro villages. The ride can surely be longer but became shorter as we kept on making fun along the trails. The scenic beauty of the area alone makes it shorter.
Did you also know that you can explore a big part of the world on a bicycle? Yes it's very possible and budget friendly, the costs of hiring a car are avoided. It's more fun on a bike than any other mean of transport though may be slower. It's ideal for travellers who are into exploring nature deeply and on a fixed budget.
