Hello folks, I trust you all are doing fine. Here is a work of art that I really took out time to shade for close to and hour, I had to employ all the shading techniques i am very familiar with. The shades on the object caught my attention at the process of doing this work, it’s so beautiful how shadow cast comes out nicely on a piece of art.

This was the first layer sketch I did before proceeding into shading proper.

I started with the shading of the background and casting shade of my subject and objects on the wall.

I started shading my subject using the hatching and cross hatching techniques, but then after I proceeded into blurring some of the edges and the darker tones on the face.
