On Thursday, June 27 2024, Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Aceh Province, Drs. H. Azhari MSi, provided coaching for dozens of waqf nazirs in Lhokseumawe City. This event took place at the Diana Hotel, Mon Geudong, Lhokseumawe, and involved Nazirs from Region 2 (Lhokseumawe City and North Aceh Regency). Head of Ministry of Religion for Lhokseumawe City, Dr. H. Muhammad Amin MAg, also attended this event.
In this coaching, the Head of Regional Office invited Nazirs to partner with related parties, including extension workers, headmen and operators at KUA. The goal is to solve every problem in the field. The creativity and innovation of Nazirs and partners in the Ministry of Religion are very much needed, especially in the development of production waqf and its documentation.
Kakanwil also emphasized the importance of publicizing waqf land so that it is not misused by other parties or taken back. He reminded that waqf cannot be taken back after it has been pledged, but what is allowed is to replace the waqf nazir.
This event carries the theme "Creative and Energetic Nazir, Blessing and Sustainable Waqf (Cool Nazir, Beken Waqf)" and includes information sharing and discussions. Kakanwil hopes that nazir and extension workers will continue to innovate and take responsibility together for the EAIW (electronic-Deed of Waqf Pledge) program and waqf land certification.
Because today the office officials were attending an event at the Diana Hotel, we, the staff of the Lhokseumawe City Ministry of Religion Office, spent time at the Security Guard Post.
