Hello everyone, happy start of the week and happy day ...
Today I want to share some photographs taken by me in 2008, in the Castillo San Antonio de Eminencia that is located in the City of Cumaná in the State of Sucre #Venezuela; it was built in the seventeenth century to protect the city from pirates and escurciones of Spanish, Portuguese and English, it is shaped like a 4-point star.
It still has the original cannons and shackles, in the photographs you can see the spaces that were used as dungeons for the prisoners of the time.
The view is excellent, from above you can see the Gulf of Cariaco and the Araya peninsula.
That is impressive structure, real fortress to protect the inhabitants from attackers :)

Qué bonita foto, he ido a varios lugares del estado Sucre pero nunca a este castillo, no lo conocía. Gracias a ti por compartirnos estas fotos y así poder mirarlo no sólo por fuera sino por dentro también.
