“Imagine you are on a train moving very fast. Inside the train, when you throw a ball in the air, it seems to behave as it normally would, right? Now, imagine that someone is watching your train from outside, but this person is standing still on the ground. When you throw the ball into the train, it seems to that person that the ball moves in a strange way, different from how it normally does on earth. This is why your train is moving so fast.
Einstein's theory of relativity tells us that the speed at which we move can affect how we see things. So, if we move very fast, time seems to pass more slowly than when we are still. This is a bit like when you play a racing game: if you run very fast, time seems to pass more slowly than if you walk slowly.
So, the theory of relativity teaches us that space and time are connected and can behave in strange ways when we move very fast or are close to very large objects, such as stars. It's kind of like a special game rule for our universe!"
