Iguanodon was the second species to be scientifically described as a dinosaur (the first was Megalosaurus).
It was named for its teeth, whose similarity to those of modern iguanas.
The animal probably spent its time grazing while moving about on four legs, although it was able to walk on two.
Iguanodon was 9 meters (30 feet) long, stood nearly 2 meters tall at the hip, and weighed four to five tons!!
