Recently in this same month of October, the BATA Industry in Chile once again honored its workers in an event held in the Plaza de Armas of Peñaflor, Chile. The main event of the event was the placement of a sculpture made with recycled material, specifically dies used in the manufacture of footwear.

This work dates back to 1974 and was made by ”Don Antonio Laínez Verdejo”, and today at 50 it was donated by the company to the Municipality of Peñaflor and exhibited on a pedestal in front of the Municipality with its front facing the Plaza of Weapons.
