Beautiful Sunday: blue hours by the river, very calming for me.

Life in the countryside is very simple but full of mundane chores and routine tasks in the garden. After the rainy season, weeds and shrubs became very bushy and tall. So, we have to work harder in the garden; I had to do a lot of weeding and trimming of branches. There are several repair tasks which we have to wait for our friendly builders’ visit after they finished their project.

In the evening, I often go for a walk by the river so as to have some quiet moments by myself. Looking at the running river quietly traveling down towards the sea is very relaxing. The sunset displayed various shades of rainbow colours in the sky.

I quite like the calming blue shades which reflected passive acceptance of changes in the surroundings. There’s a sense of humility and compassion around this sunset with soothing vibes spreading slowly along the river.

It’s nice to be able to walk slowly alone under darkening blue sky and shimmering silver light on the river. Time seemed to stop for a while to let me enjoy the beautiful blue hours by the river. I thanked the river and Mother Nature before walking back to my farmhouse.

My mind became refreshed with more energy for handling all the tasks awaiting tomorrow. Colours do have vibes and living nature is always vibrating; the whole universe is similar to a big symphony. It depends on our levels of sensitivity and perceptiveness which would allow a person to be in tune with all these beautiful vibes.
