A great soup option, possibly for vegans as well. The soup is quick to prepare. Fresh vegetables such as celery, carrots and onions are a must for lentil soup. I took red lentils this time. Red lentils cook quickly. I will experiment with another kind of lentils (green lentils) another time. Celery goes very well with soups and stews. I used up leftovers from a bag of lentils, as well as a few lone vegetables.
The garlic and vegetable mixture combined with the lentils and flavorful herbs make for an unforgettably delicious and hearty soup.
Red lentils - 120 gr (I had leftovers)
Carrots - 1 pc
Potatoes - 1-2 pcs (don't use)
Onion - 1 pc
Celery - 2 stalks
Sweet paprika - 1 tsp.
Kari seasoning - 1 tsp.
Garlic - to taste
Salt - to taste
Prepare the necessary ingredients for the lentil and celery soup. 😊
Cut celery into small pieces
Grate carrots on large grater.
Red Lentils
Salt, curry, paprika
Garlic
Add to soup
