The new task of our partyseemed fascinating to me in the sense that my camera loves and knows how to blur backgrounds. All I had to do was find an object worthy for the competition and there were several of them at arm's length, and I didn't want to go further than a couple of steps, because it's hot again today where there is no shade.
This relict plant from the Red Book feels very free in our area and if it is not destroyed, it will soon fill everything. We keep several copies on the territory of the courtyard of the house as an ornament, although it is very prickly. Now it is just getting ready for flowering, and these balls consist of its buds. The task was completed at an aperture of 3 with something and a shutter speed of about 1/800
I take another step, go around the house and find my main prey there.
The background is blurred at the same aperture and shutter speed. For this frame, I also made a black and white version.
But suddenly Dill appeared in front of me. We were both glad to meet and happy with what happened against the background of the jasmine bush.
All background images are blurred at approximately the same exposure. The diaphragm remained fully open in priority.
Glory to the Photo contest: post processing #26 from @bambuka, otherwise these photos would not have been.

Beautiful work! All the images are extraordinary and really the background is barely recognizable
