Yew is one of the most poisonous trees in Europe. Yew is an ornamental conifer that grows like a shrub. It is adorned with round red-colored fruits that look just delicious to eat and can quickly entice someone to take it.
However, these red balls are very dangerous, and five seeds can be fatal for a child, as well as for adults.
The red berry of the yew is surrounded by a fleshy shell, which is non-toxic and edible, only the seeds are dangerous and also the needles and wooden parts of the plant because they contain a strong poison, it is called the alkaloid taxin.
