Naorianna, the All-Seeing Eye.

Very good afternoon my dear art lovers hehehehehe, welcome once again to my art blog; today I want to introduce you a character that I decided to create for a new alien collection that I'm working on since a few days ago. This is a character I decided to call Naorianna, and she is the daughter of a space emperor from a very very remote galaxy; this kind of alien civilization which physically is very similar to the terrestrial one, but with great and amazing abilities unique to each of its inhabitants:

To start with my work I decided first to establish more or less how Naorianna's character would be, for this I was making many strokes for a long time; I decided that the best thing would be to draw her as a close-up portrait style to capture a little the essence or personality of the character and then later on I could make her more complete. Well, I chose some basic medium colors to build up the painting of several areas of the character.

The first thing I did was to give a little shape to Naorianna's skin, for this I used many shades of brown, pink and especially orange to get a much warmer skin; with the skin already well established the next step in the process was to paint the expression of the face with great care to detail. I decided to make the eyes in a variation of shades to later add some special details in one of them which are characteristic of the species to which Naorianna belongs; I used some red, pink and white tones to achieve a good finish and brightness.

The construction of Naorianna's clothes or clothing was something easy, I decided to create something quite simple as a kind of space suit adjusted to the body, like a somewhat smooth and shiny suit, but with some details of lines on the shoulders and so on; after the suit I went a little to what would be the hair. For this from the beginning I knew that I would use the pink tone as predominant, basically I did this because I wanted to create a kind of quite specific character; I only dedicated myself to create elongated strokes with brighter colors to get a good relief in the hair.

For the final part I decided to add one last special touch to the character and so I painted a necklace of a precious crystal, which Naorianna's father gives to all his children; this necklace was created using some layer modes and adjusting the opacity a little bit. Another thing I decided to add to the character was a green sparkle in her eye, which is the eye that gives her the ability to see through anything.
