City Postcards
Last March, during the celebration of Holy Week and all the activities typical of those dates, I was touring the center of the city of Barquisimeto, particularly the old Catholic temples located in this area.
A few meters from the headquarters of the local mayor's office and the regional courts of justice, is the Plaza Jacinto Lara, where in its surroundings are located some buildings that belong to the architectural and historical heritage of the city, such as the Larense Center of History, the Diocesan College and the Saint Francis of Assisi Church, as well as some houses built during the colonial period, as can be seen in the photos that I share in this post.
As I have described in previous publications, I used the editing tools offered by Picsart and Snapseed applications to intervene the original images to my satisfaction.
Postales de la Ciudad
El pasado mes de Marzo, durante la celebración de la Semana Santa y de todas las actividades propias de esas fechas, estuve recorriendo el centro de la ciudad de Barquisimeto, particularmente los antiguos templos católicos ubicados en esta área.
A pocos metros de las sedes de la alcaldía local y de los tribunales de justicia regionales, se encuentra la Plaza Jacinto Lara, donde a sus alrededores se ubican algunas edificaciones que pertenecen al patrinomio arquitectónico e histórico de la ciudad, como lo son el Centro Larense de Historia, el Colegio Diocesano y la Iglesia San Francisco de Asís, además de algunas viviendas construídas durante el período colonial, como puede observarse en las fotos que comparto en este post.
Tal como lo he descrito en publicaciones anteriores, usé las herramientas de edición que ofrecen las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed para intervenir las imágenes originales a mi entera satisfacción.
