Napkin love

El Macaco tomó su café,
porque el desayuno no debe perder.

Then he went out through the wall
and hurried away.

Luego salió por la pared
y deprisa se fue.

He spoke to an insect,
even though they don't have the same nod.

Habló con un insecto,
aunque no tienen el mismo asento.

And very high it climbed,
to sway in the wind.

Y muy alto subió,
a mecerse con el viento.

And when he came home,
he slept next to his beloved
drawn on a napkin.

Y cuando llegó a casa,
durmió junto a su amada,
dibujada en una servilleta blanca .

Because when there is love
it doesn't matter if it's made of napkin or cardboard,
the important thing is that there is a heartbeat.

Porque cuando hay amor,
no importa si es de servilleta o de cartón,
lo importante es que haya latidos de corazón.
