INTRODUCTION
I will be reflecting on my writing the 4 Pixabay Images I used for my image design above sourced as “Img 1, 2, 3, and 4” In full display to centralize my point of view on they subject matter ANXIETY!
WHAT IS ANXIETY?
The word "Anxiety” is best defined in the Oxford Languages Dictionary as;
A feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease about something with an uncertain outcome. Furthermore, a strong desire or concern to do something or for something to happen.
Since the definition is clearly stated, let me center my focus on its causes and positive ways to reduce the menace.
Starting with the bigger picture, Anxiety is a nightmare that lives in the mind and grows stronger as days passes by.
One can live with the picture in the mind for a long period of time before the real negative effects start showing up. As we all know, we often start by counting one then progress to two.
As such, the feelings of seeing that scary picture won’t just happen or come as a big dead ghost in a day but rather in reflects like a shadow, little by little until it overwhelms your mind and start manifesting on you.
At this point, a person in the position has already started seeing the manifestation of the nightmare in a shady way just like a cobweb that actually has no strength of stopping us from passing by but always putting a pause to our movement.
The experience is always annoying, sometimes you can be in a very good and positive mood but immediately a cobweb crosses your face, trust me you will lose that consciousness making you to pause and clean your face before you can continue your walk.
Now the feeling is getting stronger, people are seeing you as someone that’s sick but deep within, you know that you are not sick, all you can ever imagine is the magical moments you have never seen. Certainly this isn’t the real you because the nightmare has started growing wings in your mind flying to the moon with a mare mopping stick accompanied with a cat all in your mind.
Your actions has changed, your decorum and motives as well. Uncomfortable fear overwhelms your daily engagement making you have a complete feeling of rejection from people of far and within. This is because no one sees what you see nor feel the way you feel, everything still happens within you and right in your mind settles Anxiety in a bigger picture!
Now comes the barrier, the main Anxiety, the road blocker, it’s lays in front of you like a mighty and terrible Lion, desperately waiting to feast on you in any of your attempts to cross the path.
Life becomes unbearable to you most especially when you have no one to relate with, nothing comes out of you than uncertainty, your heart beat runs faster the your feet’s and in your mind a feeling of no where to belong at times, this happen even when you belong to somewhere then get worser when no one can fit in your shoes.
Now this is you with all the anxieties living in your head, what do you do to gain back yourself and be exactly who you are supposed to be?
Due to word limitations, let’s just consider the following points as antidote to Anxiety.
- Don’t lose Self-Value.
- Take Medications.
- Eat good and nutritious meal.
- Deal with stress completely.
- Source for help when necessary.
- Faithfully Pray to God.
