This is how we are making preparation for the upcoming Muslim salah celebrations.
For this usually the females love to put on Jalamias as it is called here and here we are making some of these clothes already.
This Jalamia is a straight A line dress that was easily cut with a free hand pattern I also sketch below for easy understanding.
A mixture if plain and pattern material was used. Black and thick plain material and the other green, thick and pattern material
Here is the cutting part..
When cutting this, an A -line shape of each individual was traced with paper and tape on the material.
The back bodice was the plain material and the patterned material was used for the front.
The front and back pattern were cut in same measurement except for the neckline that are different un depth and also the slash at the front where the zip allowance was turned with a black band as it runs down the length of the dress as seen.
The sleeves was also a mixture of black plain material and a black netlace material for a decorative design at full arms length.
