Winter is creeping up on us... for some, it's just like that, for others winter has already set in. Where I live it should have already been a hard winter. At least that was the case many years ago, in my youth. Now winters are much more timid here, it would seem that they too have heard that this area is slowly sliding towards a Mediterranean climate... even though the Mediterranean is a thousand miles away!
For some days now winter has been trying to conquer lost territory. My street stops at a park. This morning I saw a small layer of snow...
On the street the snow doesn't last long, so I took a short walk through the park to see more snow and a closer view of nature.
I didn't find much. Still a thin film of snow. I took a few more photos before it all melted away!
The park's birds aren't exactly happy that winter is here. They have once again reached out to passers-by for food.
Bucharest, Romania... at the beginning of a winter that I hope will still be like this, not too angry!

The snowy countries are beautiful. I live in Italy where it doesn't snow often. I see snow only a few days during the year. Thanks for sharing this black & white snow photo

Winter was beautiful decades ago, now it is no longer linear. There are more snowstorms, powerful but short. The climate has changed and I can see it with my own eyes. Italy though, even if it doesn't have much snow, is a wonderful country! Thank you!
