I continue the initiative of small support of the best authors. 60% of the reward from each issue will be given to the three authors whose articles were most frequently published in the magazine in the last 10 issues (20% to each author).

This time the leaderboard looks like this:

And now let's move on to today's issue.

Our Strange Minds: The "Downsides" of Being Unashamedly Ourselves

I remember my friend Jon from some 25 years ago, in the infancy of online dating sites. Jon had "flown solo" for quite a while, in part because he was somewhat of a nerdy developer who was always working. Nonetheless, he decided to try to find a girlfriend.

Authenticity in Heart and Expression

When did it become a such common place to deny the things you feel? When did it become “the right thing to do” to intentionally suppress something that you feel passionate about? Can somebody PLEASE enlighten me – because I very clearly missed that memo… This has GOT to be, the most UNNATURAL concept or state of being I have ever heard of! From where I stand, this is called denial – and denial has never done anybody ANY favours!

An Ancient And Unique Art Form

There is an art exhibit ongoing now at a famous art gallery in our city, Davao City, Philippines. You know, the nicest thing about these exhibits, at least for me, is the anticipation of discovering something unique that stands out among all the objet d'art on display and actually finding it. This one did not disappoint.

Oceanogfafic Park - The Biggest in Europe

If I tell you that the Oceanographic Park is magically beautiful, I would be underselling it. Aquariums like this one, recreating the setting from the movie "Finding Nemo," are just a small part of the fairy tale.

A collection of ancient Buddhist stupas in Myanmar

In Myanmar there is a place, well hidden in the jungle with more than 1600 ancient stupas in various states of decay. The location seems remote as it's only possible to visit during the rainy season. That is the only season it is possible because you need to go by boat up a canal. When you arrive at the village, you will then have the possibility to explore this complex with hundreds of Buddhist stupas.

The Classical Tag Game - in VR

The most recent advancement, however, in this game is laser tag in virtual reality (VR). Players typically wear VR headsets that provide a 360-degree view of the virtual arena. The handheld controllers serve as virtual weapons, and participants can aim, shoot, and strategize within the digital space. The combination of virtual reality and laser tag elements creates a unique and futuristic gaming experience, bringing a new level of excitement to the traditional concept of tag.

Games People Play: Just Because You Don't LIKE the Facts Doesn't Stop Then BEING the Facts!

We human beings sometimes have strange relationships with the way we perceive our worlds. Instead of being curious and open to the myriad opportunities the world offers, we shut ourselves inside a tightly defined "box" we might call "How Life Is, According To Me."

Dig Deeper

I have lived my entire life with people misunderstanding me as an individual – seldom bothering to take time enough to cross the threshold of personal insight. This is very familiar to me and therefore leaves me relatively “un-shocked” by people’s actions, but not devoid of sadness. I am all for opinions, heck – I come from a family of opinionated men, and I have plenty of my own… but pray tell – how is it that people develop opinions of others without any first-hand experience?! How is it that people who have never so much as said a single solitary word to you feel that they are in a position to mock, ridicule and belittle your character. Humans are masters at attempting to kill the human spirits surrounding them in the interest of self-preservation and sadly so.

Good Things Take Time...

It warms my heart to witness scenes like these. My daughter and husband are not particularly poetic or expressive individuals. Their love language is entirely different. The yearning for late-night pastas and the never-ending debates over ever-annoying soundtracks make their bond unique.

Psychology and Mind: Compulsive Patterns - Repeating Me, Repeating You

One of the difficult issues I had to deal with and overcome — with respect to my own childhood, youth and upbringing — were the patterns that I learned from my parents' relationship, and subsequently from my mother, after my parents got divorced.

Thank you for your kind words. After this, I want to do even more 😊

Beautiful magazine as always @o1eh! I'm very honored that you have included two of my articles from recently!

Hopefully this comment will display... Steemit seems a little uncertain, these days.

I noticed your posts have gotten longer. Looks like you have more to say to us now 🙂

I actually read absolutely all of your posts. However, I am currently in such a period that I rarely comment. I think it will change🙂.

These terrible glitches turn curator activity into hell.

Well, I have been pulling out a lot of my old "scratch notes files" where I put down ideas for blog posts/articles when I don't actually have time enough to create a complete post... winter seems like a good time to follow up on some of those ideas!

Yes, I bet Steemit being "glitchy" makes curation very difficult! I have gotten used to having both Steemit and Steemworld.org open at the same time, so I can load comment responses via a direct link, rather than trying to open the post. It works, but it is less than ideal.

Much Love @o1eh and thank you for featuring my content! There really is nothing more rewarding to a creative than having their content recognised and appreciated!

thnak you)))

Thank you, and Bright Blessings to you!
