Types of mental disability :

Mental disability occurs when there are problems that prevent the development of the brain well, and this leads to the inability to perform its intellectual and adaptive functions within the normal range, and the types of mental disability are as follows :

· Mild mental disability: Symptoms of this type of mental disability include that children with it take longer to learn to talk, but they can communicate well when they learn it, and these children are independent by taking care of themselves when they grow up, having some problems reading and writing, social delay, having difficulty taking on responsibilities such as marriage and taking on the responsibilities of parents.

· Moderate mental disability: A symptom of this type of mental disability is a slow understanding and use of language, communication difficulties, but they can learn to read, write and count, these people cannot live independently, can move or go to places familiar to them without assistance, and participate in social activities.

· Severe mental disability: Symptoms of this type of mental disability include severe and noticeable impaired motor abilities and severe delays in the development of their central nervous system.
