A WONDERFUL FIND OF WILD STRAWBERRIES (PHOTO POST)

Amazing provision from the wild!

The other day we did release a video about this, but many people are not "video people." We wanted to also share our good fortune and creativity in a photo post so the rest of you could enjoy it, so here it is. Monster Truck and I were working on a project on the border of our property. While working we saw an amazing sight!

Yes! At the edge of our property, a number of wild strawberry plants were growing. Soon, we gave up on our original project and switched to harvesting wild strawberries. Mama-Pepper had just mentioned a desire to infuse some water kefir with strawberries, so we thought it was the perfect opportunity. Moreover, we wanted to do a taste test and compare the wild strawberries with the ones in the garden.

The harvest was blessed, the taste test was wonderful and the water kefir tasted amazing with the wild strawberries in it. Below are some photos from our day. Enjoy the photos!

Wild strawberries are looking very good.it seems that it is very testy.i like strawberry very much.Have these been done alone? Or has anyone cultivated?

Wow what a nice wild strawberry!I have never seen strawberries being picked from a tree before. Thanks so much for sharing with us.Is it strawberry jelly in the bottle?

Wild strawberries are small, very cute when you see them, but you and your wife can make good use of them

Thanks for the visuals. It never occurred to search for a strawberry plant. This is frankly my first time of seeing one. Strawberries are not endemic to West Africa so this post is informative to me.

Really it’s fun to collect and having wild fruits, very nice to you and your family are enjoying this. All the photographs looking great.

I think it's a good idea to make a STRAWBERRY kefir. I dont know what's the taste of strawberry kefir but I feel its good idea.
