Have you ever thought of reusing household items and turning them into planters? A used toilet bowl for instance makes an excellent large flower pot. Only of course if you are not squeamish about displaying it in your garden.

Turning a toilet into a planter is quirky, but certainly an effective, upcycling project. It is a heavy pot which withstands strong winds.

Plants can include a small evergreen shrub, bulbs or summer flowering perennials. Have a thought of what colours you prefer and maybe consider including few different ones which according to you (yes, that's all that matters!) go well together.
However bear in mind that some of your neighbours might object to a toilet being displayed in your front yard. It is always best if you have a chat with them before you get such a DIY project started.
If for one reason or another you don't end up with toilet planters in your garden, you can always consider more a common design for your flower arrangements. Just take it easy and don't get carried away by having a pot too many.
Any bulb can be planted in a container but tulips (Tulipa gesneriana) are a preferred choice for their infinite colours. Plant them in autumn, best in fertile well-drained soil.

Day 12 of 14 Days Diving by @bambuka.
This has been posted as a "50/50" but I commit myself to transfer SBD to SP to Power Up 100% based on the program's rules.
If I had a garden, I would decorate it with a different way :)
