A lovely Saturday lunch here, in Southwold, Suffolk, England by the harbour makes for a nice outing regardless of the weather. There is even free parking on a first come, first served basis at the harbour, just before the pier - the Harbour West Car Park. Another free parking within walking distance is the York Road Car Park, which has plenty of spaces.

Enjoy your pleasant stroll around the harbour, take photos or let others photo you. Then here it is - not another boring, overpriced, posh restaurant but the very opposite. A seafood eatery boasting an authentic ambience and offering friendly, but not annoyingly attentive service (thank you waiter Charlie!).

It is definitely the right place to order a lobster without breaking the bank. The whole one is the ideal choice (and the most cost effective option!) If you have another seafood lover to share some of it with. And do not forget to break the lobster claws and tail first and then pour some of the melted butter over it (unless you don't mind greasy fingers of course)!
It goes without saying that the all time British classic the fish and chips is the most frequently ordered meal here.
Cod cooked in beef dripping with homemade chunky chips, mushy peas which still make my mouth water and tartare sauce.

Don't forget to write a positive message or make a wish on a stone on your way back.

Day 15 of Diving Program by @bambuka.
This has been posted as a "50/50" but I commit myself to transfer SBD to SP to Power Up 100% based on the program's rules.
I'm already drooling, it's time to open the refrigerator ... :-))
