I’m strange…I know 😉

I shot this in the oldest street of Antwerp, the "Vlaeykensgang".
The narrow street dates from the end of 1500 and was originally a place where the poorest lived.

Of course a lot has changed and it has long since ceased to be a place for the poorest, far from it. As you can see, the people here have enough money to put abstract art on their doorstep ...

Yes, that block there in the middle is a work of art! It is made of blue stone and will probably have cost a lot of money ...
Note, it is not ugly. The intention is probably to emphasize the contrast between the architecture of the place and the modern art today ...

But yeah, like I said, I'm a bit strange. My attention was not focused on the artwork ... but on the, in my opinion, much more beautiful old wall behind it 😁
