I have a small but wonderful story related to this picture. During one of our trips to the Ladoga skerries, we examined an old abandoned military fortification from the Second World War - a Finnish pillbox. The Finns built it to last, the thick 20 mm armor plates are still intact, and all the inside concrete partitions too... but it doesn't matter. When my babygirl got in, and looked thru this window at the world outside, she excitedly proclaimed: "I see freedom!" and treated me with a candy from her stocks.
