Fungi are parasites that usually grow on soil, dry or damp wood. They obtain nutrients to live and develop from other organisms. Of the many types of mushrooms, it turns out that they have different ways of life. Lots of mushrooms that can be consumed, but not a few mushrooms that contain poison if consumed will be fatal.
As for the way of life, namely saprophytes, parasites and symbiotic mutualism.
Saprophytes are fungi that live and obtain nutrients from the remains of dead organisms, such as animal carcasses. Parasitic fungi are fungi that obtain nutrients from living organisms. Parasitic fungi grow and live on other organisms.Meanwhile, fungi that experience a mutualism symbiotic relationship get nutrients from other living organisms, but are able to provide benefits to these organisms.
SAPROFIT MUSHROOM
This morning I found a type of fungus that is saprophytic. I found them in several different places. They grow in rice fields. What caught my attention because the model is like an open umbrella.
Judging from where it grows, it is clear that this fungus is a saprophytic fungus.
They grow on the ground, in the bush, what is certain is that the soil on which they grow is carcass or animal dung. Generally, loose and moist soil is the habitat for this fungus. Of the many types of mushrooms I have ever seen, this mushroom is the thinnest, the stem reaches 6-7 cm high and looks exactly like an open umbrella. It is white in color, thin in shape, visible from above like neatly stretched folds. The first, second, and third mushrooms that I saw were normal mushrooms. When I saw the fourth and fifth I became curious because the way they bloom was different. Then I immediately took my smartphone and took photos everywhere. From the five places that I took, I found three models of the same mushroom but different shapes.
- The mushrooms will bloom soon
- Half blooming mushrooms
- Mushrooms are in full bloom
Then I immortalized it with my smartphone. Here are some photos I took.

PARASITE MUSHROOM
Then while I was sitting resting in a hut near the rice fields. I saw another fungus stuck to a dead palm tree. The skin is dry and peeled from the stem. The model is about 1 cm thick, up to 10 cm wide, and looks like a hand fan. It sticks to the skin of the palms like most parasitic fungi. However, this mushroom is different because it looks like a person's face from the side. Again I took some photos of this mushroom. It is a type of parasitic fungus due to its inherent nature. They attach themselves to other organisms to live. From the color it is clear that this mushroom is old. The petals are tied with peeled palm tree bark. Makes this fungus look really dirty. Then I tried cleaning the mushrooms and took some photos.

From some of the photos I took, one of the photos looked like a person's face from the side. Do you agree with what I see ???
